“Tatami-iwashi” is dried whitebait in a seaweed-form.
It can be cut but it was slightly hard to adjust the focal length because of the rough and curved surface, which made some parts stick to each other and made a part of cutting line a bit wider. Thus, we assume it would be hard to get stable processing results with the laser.
Though we tried to set the speed parameter to be high and tried multiple passes (shown in ①) in order to reduce down the burned part, the burned parts stand out even with the highest speed parameter. The cutting process went pretty well when we set the speed parameter to be low and the power parameter to be high (shown in ③), but the laser burned the parts into black more than other examples.
